Microblading
Microblading, what is it?
Microblading or Micropigmentation, is a tattoo process that delivers pigment into the epidermal layers and the first "Reticular" dermal layer of the skin using very fine needles. The treatment is semi permanent because we all, eventually, shed our epidermal skin layers, leaving a faint trace of pigment in the reticular layer.
People shed the epidermal layers at different rates, meaning that fading of colour varies from person to person. The colour of the tattooed area will seem darker than expected until healed, which is about 5-7 days, when the colour fades by about 30%, leaving a lovely, soft, natural result.
It is a safe and extremely effective way of enhancing your natural looks, and means that you can dispense with a lot of products in your makeup bag, such as brow pencils.
The result can last for a year or more, depending on your skin type and certain medical conditions, which in the long run will save a lot of time and money on cosmetics.

Cancellation Policy
Deposit policy
A 10% deposit is required to secure your lash extension or tint appointment. A 20% deposit is required for all Microblading appointments. The balance will be left to pay on the day.
Cancellation policy
Cancelling or rescheduling under 24 hours before the appointment (or ‘no shows’) will result in your deposit being lost.
Please note: Cancelling and rescheduling can be done via email or telephone.
Lateness policy
If you are late to an appointment, it will still finish at the scheduled time in order to accommodate the next client, but you will still be charged full price. Please note I allow a generous amount of time for appointments.
If you arrive too late for us to carry out the treatment, we may need to reschedule your appointment and a new deposit will be required.
Patch tests
A patch test is recommended for new clients to check for allergies at least 24 hours before the following treatments: Eyelash extensions, eyelash/eyebrow tinting and brow lamination. If pregnant, a patch test is compulsory.
Microblading patch tests will be required 24hours before appointments or via a on the day scratch test, 1hour before your appointment.
Please bear in mind that, on rare occasions, an allergic reaction or swelling and redness may still occur, even if the results were negative. We advise you to book your treatment a few days before an important event.
If after your appointment, you experience any discomfort, itchiness or redness in the eye area, please get in touch with us for advice and also refer to your GP immediately. You should never ignore any symptoms of an allergic reaction, as it may lead to serious health issues if untreated.

Infilling work from other salons
If you have lashes on from another salon then for the best results it is always best to do a removal and a full set, as all salons use different products and techniques. However, I will infill work from other salons as long as it is good quality work. If you are unsure then please email us some photos.
Infill appointments
Please schedule your infill appointments every 2 – 3 weeks to maintain your eyelash extensions.
My maximum time limit for infills is 4 weeks – anything over 4 weeks is considered a full set. Even if you still have many lashes left after 4 weeks, the majority will be grown out after this time period and therefore need to be removed.
Eye make-up and contact lenses
Please make sure your lashes are clean and free from eye make-up before your appointment. If your lashes need to be cleaned during your appointment time, this will reduce the time available for the application of new lashes. It may also mean that your lashes do not last as long if there is make-up residue remaining on your lashes.
We also request that you remove contact lenses before any eyelash and microblading treatments, but they can be put straight back in after treatment.
Bringing guests
Please do not bring guests, children or pets to your appointment.
